PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE
In the early morning hours of September 15, 2021, the main building of operations for The Landing completely burned to the ground. We have been overwhelmed by the love and support of so many from that night until today. We are thankful that no one was injured in the fire and appreciate all of the first responders who made such great efforts that night.
There has never been a doubt about coming back. It was just a matter of how and when. Even through great loss, there is great opportunity and in early December, the planning began. We have now set out to improve upon the experience that so many of you love and seek out with us every year.
Construction has already begun on a new 18 room addition that we hope to be completed later this spring. Plans are being finalized on a new building of operations to replace what was lost back in September. The plan is to complete the construction by the end of the year.
We want everyone to know that, this year, we will be FULLY OPERATIONAL. We have already begun floating this spring. Our restaurant has been relocated on the property and is open nightly serving the same great food at full capacity. Although temporarily reduced, we still have riverfront accommodations available.
This year may look a bit different, but we are still here and excited to serve you. Make sure to keep up with us on our Facebook and Instagram pages, where we will be posting updates of the progress. Make your plans now, call us for reservations, and we’ll see you this summer!
we are open!
