The Landing invites you to experience this crystal clear river that moves through stunning Ozark landscapes. Enjoy a float trip on Current River and it will be an experience you won’t forget. On the International Scale of River Difficulty, the Current River ranks as a Class 1 river, the easiest and safest rank. It is enjoyable for both beginners and experts. The Landing professionally outfits thousands of recreational floaters each year.

 

FLOATING

Since The Landing originated the Current River Tube Trip over 40 years ago, it has become an extremely popular form of summertime entertainment. More and more people each year have discovered this relaxing pastime. It is a unique and inexpensive form of entertainment for the whole family, and we guarantee you a fun-filled summer day or weekend!

 

 

We are an authorized National Park Concession and, in conjunction with The Landing River Store, offer a wide array of float trips consisting of canoes, rafts, kayaks and tubes. Park your car at The Landing and leave the rest up to us. We transport you upriver to your point of entry. This allows you to enjoy your float with no set take-out time or deadline to meet, and there is no tiring wait for transportation at the end of your float.

The Rosecliff Lodge

The Landing is the only establishment in the Current River area to offer riverfront accommodations. Each room has a spacious balcony with inviting Adirondack chairs where you can sit and enjoy the view. We are open year round, offering a “four season experience” of Current River. Whether it’s an all day tubing trip in the heat of the summer to keep cool, a scenic raft or canoe trip in the middle of the fall, a peaceful snowfall in the winter, or a bass fishing or bird watching trip in the spring, The Landing makes for a great vacation destination anytime of the year.

 

 

The Blue Heron

Located on the west side of The Landing on the main level, The Blue Heron offers exceptional food, personable service, and a great view of Current River. We also offer outdoor dining on the riverview decks, two full service bars, and live weekend entertainment.

The Blue Heron may be best known for its four cuts of juicy, charbroiled steaks, such as Chef Bobby King’s own 8 oz. Crab-Stuffed Filet, however, our full service menu also offers a variety of specialty entrees including Crusted Orange Roughy, Hill Country Catfish, Stuffed Pasta Shells, and a number of great appetizers including our version of the fried onion blossom, the Current River Rootwad.
